I can’t believe it’s that time of the year again…back to school? There’s no avoiding it. Whatever local store I seem to stop in, there’s evidence of the impending reality-school is just around the corner. Now, if you’re a parent like me, you might be secretly a little excited about this. But for all of the kids out there, back to school means back to early morning routines and yes…homework.
We often celebrate the ending of the school year with parties, but what about having a party to celebrate the end of a fun summer and kick-off the new school year?
I recently made another appearance on our local Fox 9 Morning Buzz TV show and shared some easy ways to create a fun Back to School party. You may have caught me featured on the Morning Buzz before. I can’t believe that I’ve been a contributor six times now! I’ve shared party ideas ranging from Graduation, Fourth of July, Halloween, Christmas, and New Year’s. The anchors at Fox 9 are such fun people to work with. I do get thrown the occasional curve ball question during the interview, but hey, it keeps me on my toes! I’m just so grateful for the opportunity to speak about my passion and share my talents with their television viewers.
Whether they are endings or beginnings, all of life’s moments should be celebrated. So, before summer makes its finally appearance, find some time to celebrate the fun you had with your kids and help them get excited about the year to come!
