1. I'll just start with this one first...I. LOVE. ICE CREAM. I mean, it's a darn good thing that my favorite local ice cream shop closes down for 7 months out of the year, because during the other 5, I am a regular customer. I have my favorite flavor (cake batter fudge) and I've perfected savoring every single lick of my double scoop dish order. My friends laugh and poke fun at me. My family knows that when I speak of ice cream, I mean business. But the part that many people may not know is that I have a secret dream of owning an ice cream truck one day. It all goes way back to my favorite time period in my childhood when the ice cream truck came through the neighborhood and I always ordered a red, white, and blue bomb pop. I can still see it. Yes, the thought of driving around to neighborhoods and delivering treats to excited little kids (and grown-up kids) is something that would be an incredible delight! So...I'm always on the look out for that perfect truck...and you never know, I just might show up in your neighborhood one hot summer day!
2. I'm a die hard Green Bay Packers fan! I was born in northern Wisconsin and lived there for part of my life, but most of my life has been lived in Minnesota. Now, I'm not saying it's always easy to walk amongst the purple, but a true fan has to stay strong! A huge highlight was traveling to Lambeau to watch a game. GO PACK!
3. Naps. One of my favorite words to say or just think about. I’ve always wondered if I should move to another country-you know, the ones that stop in the middle of their work day to take lunch and a nap. It would be a dream to nap every day. I do have an advantage because I can sleep almost anywhere and it takes me about 2.5 minutes to drift off to dreamland. But in my defense, I must say that naps are so re-energizing to me. I’m definitely a person that needs my sleep and a quick power nap can do wonders for my energy level, focus, and overall state of mind.
So, did anything surprise you? I'm happy to share a little bit more about me with YOU! Thanks for reading,
~Jen
